We know the ocean is full of plastic pollution. So is your body.

We consume up to 25 grams of microplastics per month as a natural result of our lifestyles, that’s the equivalent of a small food or drink container every 2 weeks. More research is needed to see exactly how much is retained over time and how it affects our health. These images were created to show the shocking amount of plastics our bodies process every 2 weeks, and that the dire effects on the ecosystem include us directly.
